This is the ultimate experience for any craft beer enthusiast. Not only will you get to tour one of Australia’s most popular breweries, but you’ll also get to enjoy a bird’s eye view of the Byron Shire as you fly in our state-of-the-art helicopters. And what could be better than sipping on a cold beer while taking in the stunning views? We might be biased but not a lot can compare!
What can we expect from the Sanctus Brewery Helitour?
You will take in an entirely new perspective of the Clarence Valley and Northern Rivers regions of New South Wales. Departing from Lismore Base (or other departure locations), you’ll fly east to meet the coast before flying south to the Clarence Valley’s Iluka, Yamba and Angourie before landing at Sanctus Brewing Company for a VIP experience.
At the Sanctus Brewery, you will have a three and a half hour door to door experience that includes exclusive tastings of seasonal beer and spirits all handcrafted on site, a behind-the-scenes look at the brewing, distilling, and packaging processes and a gourmet lunch using locally sourced produce. All the while, taking in the beautiful local scenery.

A little bit about Sanctus Brewery
Sanctus Brewing Company’s team has a deep appreciation for the land, the environment and their beer. They regard the beverage as a divine gift, a holy beverage distinct from all others. They also see their surroundings as having a divine quality – hence their slogan, “Crafted in God’s Country” – and it’s difficult to argue with that. The Sanctus Brewery is located in the Clarence Valley, a beautiful region stretching from the coast to the hills with sprawling fields in between halfway between Byron Bay and Coffs Harbour.
Sanctus brews beers that are fitting for the Clarence Valley, a rural area known for humid days and hard work. This means that a good lager was always going to be important, with a selection that includes lager, pale ale and pilsner. The brewery has a taproom where you can enjoy their selection on site and, with the helicopter tour, you can see the valley from above while enjoying a few locally crafted beers.
